In the second quarter of 2009, “IMON INTERNATIONAL” was visited by several foreign stakeholders. On April 15, the Organization received a visit from Mr. Peter Bereschka from “Incofin” to conduct an evaluation of the activities of the Organization.

During his visit, he met with staff from across the Organization covering topics that included Policies and Procedures, loan delivery, branch management and administration, treasury and finance, internal audit and internal controls as well as marketing strategy and the competitive environment.    

On April 21, we received Ms. Gulnaz Abdurakhimova from Blue Orchard together with professional photographer Mr. Johann Sauty, who was collecting material for Blue Orchard’s magazine publication. Management used the occasion of their visit to pay a visit on IMON clients.

On April 8, representatives of KfW visited Khojand to discuss issues of further cooperation in agricultural lending in Tajikistan.

On June 3, Ms. Caroline Norton from Deutsche Bank met the management and staff with particular focus on the successful transformation completed in July last year.

In the second quarter of 2009, we were visited by a delegation from the International Financial Corporation (IFC). During the visit the delegation was given an overview of the Organization with a detailed discussion on how we have responded to the financial crisis. Our guests were impressed with the financial, operational and social indicators of the Organization during these difficult times in the financial sector.
