" World Consumer rights day"
Every year on March 15, World Consumer Rights Day is celebrated around the world.
In 1960, the non-profit organization Consumers International (CI) was founded. The organization has been operating for 60 years. It unites almost two hundred public and state organizations for the protection of consumer rights and more than seventy democratic developed countries.
Consumers International defends the consumers rights in UNESCO and the UN, provides educational and legal support.

World Consumer Rights Day has been established by the United Nations since 1983.
This day was first celebrated on March 15, 1983. According to the statistics of the Society for the Protection of Consumer Rights "Control of Society", the number of citizens for the protection of consumer rights has increased, including the decision made in court: for example, if in 1998 a total of 27.1 thousand complaints were submitted, then in 2007 it already increased by 95 thousand and in 2020 increased by 315 thousand.
On April 9, 1985, the General Assembly of the United Nations established consumer protection guidelines. And henceforth the rights of consumers will be legally recognized.
LAW OF THE REPUBLIC OF TAJIKISTAN on the protection of consumer rights was adopted on 09.12.2004 No. 12.
This law regulates the relations between consumers and manufacturers, contractors, sellers in the sale of goods (performance of works, provision of services), establishes the rights of consumers to purchase goods (works, services) of adequate quality and safe for life and health, to receive information about goods ( works, services) and about manufacturers (performers, sellers), provides state and public protection of the interests of consumers, and also determines the mechanism for exercising these rights.

In case of late payment or incomplete payment of the loan amount (a separate amount of each tranche) in accordance with the Payment Schedule, a penalty of 0.2% is charged after each subsequent payment period. The penalty is calculated from the balance of principal and interest, which is delayed according to the Payment Schedule.
The fine is calculated on monthly payments of the overdue loan amount (a separate amount of each tranche) for up to 30 days after the expiration of the loan agreement. In addition, after 15:30 on the established day of payment of borrowed funds (a separate amount of each tranche), funds are received at the Lender's cash desk and through payment acceptance terminals or non-cash transactions through the Lender's electronic means of payment, as well as through electronic means of payment of other credit organizations no later than 17:00 is accepted without charging a fine. Payment of the fine does not relieve the Borrower from fulfilling obligations and eliminating the circumstances of non-fulfillment of the loan agreement.
A “Lender”, with the consent of the “Borrower”, submits the history of this loan to the Credit History Bureau, and also receives information from the Credit History Bureau about other credit histories of the “Borrower” in other credit organizations.
In the event of due date for the payment of accrued interest on the loan and the principal amount of the loan according to the payment schedule, as well as violation of the terms of this agreement by the “Borrower”, which prescribed the timely payment of accrued interest on the loan and the principal amount of the loan according to the payment schedule, the “Lender” is entitled to charge an amount accrued at that moment on a non-acceptance basis from the account of the “Borrower” with imposing of a fine prescribed in the agreement.
In case of late payment of the loan, the “Lender” is entitled to forcibly recover the pledged property of the “Borrower” to cover the loan ssued to him, pay accrued interest and other amounts (fine, penalty) in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Tajikistan.
Request the "Lender" statement on fulfillment of debt obligations in written or oral, statement on loan balance, about repayment of principal amount, interests and fine.
Upon termination of microcredit agreement and or in the event of early repayment of loan, shall submit a request (application) to the "Lender" for the next lending.
The amount of loan interest is calculated using the following formula:
S - amount of interests accrued on the loan
k - the balance of loan;
r - annual interest rate on the loan;
t - number of used days of loan;
D - number of calendar days per year (360 ё 365).
Annual effective rate on the loan is calculating by the following formula:
Pt – repayment for the period t;
t – (1,…., N) number of periods (date, month and year);
S – amount of issued lian;
F – services costs upon loan reception;
IRR – annual effective interes trate.
