Procedure for membership of credit institutions in the Fund

As per Articles 12 and 15 of the Law of the Republic of Tajikistan "On Individuals Deposit Insurance", any credit institution that has a license of the National Bank of Tajikistan to attract individuals deposits is a member of the Fund.

To obtain a Certificate of membership in the Individuals Deposits Insurance Fund, credit institutions must submit the following documents:

1.   Official letter of the credit organization addressed to the Chairman of the Individuals Deposit Insurance Fund on its acceptance as a member of the Individuals Deposit Insurance Fund;

2.   A copy of the license of the National Bank of Tajikistan to attract individuals deposits;

3.   A credit institution's balance sheet as of the date of membership in the Fund;

4.   Payment of the membership fee in the amount of 0.5% of the minimum authorized capital to the account of the Individuals Deposits Insurance Fund in the National Bank of Tajikistan:

Within three working days after the payment of the membership fee, the Fund includes the credit institution in the Register of credit institutions of the Individuals Deposits Insurance System and issue a Certificate of membership.
